If you’re going back to college this year, or know someone who is, then you probably know how expensive it is.

Between tuition, textbooks and other supplies it all adds up quickly!

A great way to save money along the way is to rent textbooks instead of buying them:

  • save 40-90% off of bookstore prices
  • free shipping both ways
  • can highlight in the textbooks
  • flexible renting periods
  • campusbookrentals.com donates to Operation Smile with each textbook rented

Then when you’re done you can choose to either sell back your textbook or use an awesome new program called RentBack.

RentBack is a brand new initiative that allows students to rent the textbooks they own out to other students. Which is awesome because it makes them 2-4x more money compared to what they’d make through buyback options!

I wish they would’ve had these great options when I was going to college (I won’t say how long ago). ;)

But I’m glad that when my own kids are college bound they’ll have a way to save money (and possibly make money) on their textbooks.

That takes a little of the stress out of going to college and makes one aspect worry free so they can focus on studying.

Do you know someone going to college right now.. or are you?

Sure, you can rent or buy new textbooks. They still cost hundreds of dollars. The method that I use has saved me hundreds of dollars just this semester. Basically, it consists of utilizing older textbook editions rather than new ones.
