Being a Michigan native and a resident for most of my life, I’ve traveled to our neighboring state Ohio a time or two. One of the main attractions when I’ve gone to Ohio has been to visit Cedar Point. But even though I’ve been to the roller coaster capital of the world, I’ve never been down for Cedar Point HalloWeekends before.
I never realized there was so much to do, and not just scary spooky stuff either, there’s also family-friendly Halloween fun too. Your kids can hang out with the Peanuts gang and enjoy a fun-filled day doing some not-so-spooky stuff:

- Live Shows (including Charlie Brown and the gang)
- Kids’ Costume Contest (winners from each age group- preschoolers & grade school kids)
- Planet Spooky (children’s area with 7 not-so-spooky rides)
- Magical House & (pintsize) Haybale Maze
- Monster Midway Invasion Celebration (a parade!)

And for the older kids- teens (ages 13+) and adults: Check out the thrilling & terrifying Cedar Point HalloWeekends attractions after dark! If you’re looking for spooky, this is it.. zombies, psychotic clowns, ya know that sort of thing.

Cedar Point HalloWeekends
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
September 14 – October 28
You can visit the Cedar Point website to find tons of information on planning your visit to have the best experience possible while you’re there- find out hours and directions, rides and attractions, rider height requirements, park map, ticket prices, places to stay overnight etc.
We’ll be heading down as a family next weekend to enjoy their daytime fun and I can’t wait! I’ll tweet some pics while we’re there and share the fun in a post when we get back. We plan to leave before any of the scary stuff starts but I think it’d be awesome to plan an adult trip for Halloween next year, maybe. I’m kind of a big sissy though.
Have you ever been to Cedar Point? (if not, you totally should)
When was the last time you rode a roller coaster? (sad to say but I think it’s been over 10 years since I’ve been on a roller coaster)

I LOVE Cedar Point, but it’s been about 8 years since I’ve been. I’m thinking the Halloween celebration would be super fun there. :)

We moved to the Midwest four years ago, and my kids have been DYING to go to Cedar Point. This would be a great time to take them.
