Polly Pocket has some new furry friends in her Polly Pocket Pet Shop. At the Playtime Pet Shop you can wash your pet, feed them, play with them or take them for a walk. There are lots of details and lots to do.

My girls liked this playset just as much as the other Polly Pocket set (you can read my review of the Polly Pocket Hangout House). The Polly Pocket Pet Shop doesn’t have suction cup bottoms like the Hangout House but with how many features there are Polly and her animals won’t be in one spot for long and you’ll want to be able to move them around often.

So what do you get with the Playtime Pet Shop?
- Polly doll with flip flops & cute pawprint skirt
- eight pets (dog, cat, bunny, 3 kittens & 2 lovebirds)
- pet food with working dispenser
- pet toys & leash
- towel and shampoo bottles
- cash register
- pet swing and pet carrier
- rotating carousel (your child spins it around) & fun slide
- elevator to go up and down between floors
- And NO BATTERIES REQUIRED

I love that everything is kid powered, no batteries necessary, so playtime lasts as long as they want it to. It allows my girls to use their imagination through creative role playing. I think the only issue in our house is making sure all the small pieces don’t get lost. Having a solid container to put everything in when they’re done playing with it is a must and the only way it would be portable.
My girls also got to watch a Polly Pocket movie “Friends Finish First“. They loved this movie- the music was upbeat and the characters were fun. Polly and her friends set off an adventure and learn that it’s not all about winning. It was a short 22 minute dvd so not too long that the kids start squirming. My girls get very excited when they know I’m putting this in and think it’s an “awesome movie”.

“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Mattel Polly Pocket. I received a product samples and a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.”

My girls love Polly Pockets! This set looks like a cute one.
