Dermagist Anti-Aging Skin Care Line {Review & Giveaway}

As much as I’d like to sometimes, I can’t freeze time or stop myself from getting older. So now that I’m in my mid-30′s and my skin is showing it’s age, I’ve become much more interested in anti-aging skin care products.

Dermagist has a variety of anti-aging products and wrinkle creams to keep your skin looking it’s best. I was able to try out the Complete Rejuvenation System and have been using it for more than a month now. The system includes the following products:

• Original Smoothing Cream- smooths wrinkles, increases the skin’s collagen and cell regeneration
• Dynamic Age Defying Serum- helps with wrinkles, age spots, large pores and facial redness
• Instant-Effect Lifting Serum- provides instant lift with a tightening agent

The products are designed to work together to help improve the look of wrinkles, age spots, redness, and enlarged pores. I liked the way the products made my skin feel- moisturized and smooth- although I haven’t seen much improvement with wrinkles or age/sun spots (dark pigmentation) yet. The Original Smoothing Cream did have an instant smoothing effect on wrinkles and the Lifting Serum did immediately tighten my skin, I just wish the effects would last longer.

I have yet to find a product that will lighten my sun spots and I sometimes wonder whether my skin has had too much sun damage from when I was younger for it to be dramatically reversed. I’m going to keep using the products though in hopes that my skin will improve since I think consistency is key when using anti-aging skin care products. And maybe if I continue to use the products, and apply sunscreen daily , I can stay looking 30-something even when I’m in my 40′s and 50′s. ;)
