My girls are huge fans of playsets, dolls and all things girly. Just recently at ages 2, 4 and 7 years old they were introduced to Polly Pocket for the first time. These new Polly Pocket dolls are larger sized compared to the small earlier versions.
In addition to being larger than the original version the newest Polly Pocket set the girls got to play with had another modification- suction bottoms! My girls thought it was fun to set up the Polly Pocket Hangout House Playset and arrange the pieces how they wanted. Features included:
- Polly doll and pet dog
- Lots of cute, colorful furniture
- Includes a fun elevator
- Third floor transforms from bedroom to rooftop pool
- Every piece has a suction cup bottom

You can also get Stick N Play rooms to add on to the hangout house like the Polly Pocket kitchen, game room and patio set. The house and rooms can be configured however you want since they all clip together.
My girls enjoyed the new Polly Pocket playset but I think it lost some of it’s appeal after the fun of the initial setup. The items stick but some pop up slightly and then become wobbly, like the table with the cake on it in the picture below. So it can look a little topsy turvy and as soon as you try to move it pretty much everything falls over and has to be reassembled.
You also have to be sure to have a container or bag to put all the small pieces in or they become lost all over the house. Overall I think it’s a fun set to have and I think my girls will play with it off and on just like most of their other toys.

>> You can find all the Polly Pocket dolls and playsets on their website and if you sign up for their emails you get 10% off your first order.

Polly Pocket has been around forever! I love the little playsets like this, as everything a young girl needs is inside the box!

I like the suction cup idea, but you might be right. When they get dirty or dusty, they’re not going to work the same way. Still a cute set though!
