I think when you wear glasses and also have young kids, you need to replace them (the glasses, not the kids) sooner than other people might need to.
Unless it’s just me and I have bad luck, because it seems whenever I get a new pair of eyeglasses they become ‘not new’ (ie. broken) shortly after I wear them home.
It’s not usually the lenses though, it’s almost always the frame. My last pair of glasses got completely mangled in no time at all thanks to a certain grabby two year old.
I really need to find the time to look at some eyeglasses frames and pick out a new pair. I’m hoping to find something that is durable, obviously to be able to withstand a little wear and tear (ahem, kids!). I’m not sure yet which type of frames I’d get.

It’s hard to find the time to get to an eyeglass store though, so I think shopping for glasses online is definitely the way to go for someone like me- a busy mom of 3 young kids.
At GlassesUSA.com I can search through hundreds of frames at a great price. They also offer a 110% lowest price guarantee and a 100% satisfaction guarantee plus an awesome refer-a-friend program so it’s hard to go wrong with buying online!
I love that I now have help finding the perfect eyeglasses to suit my face using their new virtual mirror feature to see what I’d look like in different frame styles and colors. The pictures above are of me wearing different frames from the virtual mirror, what do you think- plastic, metal or semi-rimless?
You can try the virtual mirror for yourself below!

We ordered glasses from Glasses USA before and were very happy with them. I love the virtual try on, it makes it so much easier to pick the correct pair.

That is so cool, trying on glasses – virtually. Wow! I love it! I think you can actually see how they look better than when you’re under pressure at a store.
