Carmex Healing Lotion {Review}

We all know Carmex for their great lip care items, the familiar yellow-capped jars have been around for over 70 years.  And now they’re not just for lips anymore, they have a new line of skin care items with the same great moisturizing protection.

My skin gets extremely dry in the wintertime, especially my hands.  It’s very important to have the right lotion that’s going to keep my skin soft and prevent it from getting dry, red and cracked.  Carmex has a healing lotion and a healing cream- both prefect for the cold weather.

The Carmex Healing Lotion and Cream are both non-greasy so they absorb quickly and have the same wonderful light scent as their lip care items.  The Healing Lotion contains Aloe & Vitamin E to nourish and moisturize, perfect for daily use.  The Healing Cream is specifically concentrated for treating dry, rough skin.  It contains 9 healing ingredients to penetrate and repair your worst dry cracked skin.

I really liked both the lotion and the cream.  I like the lotion for after a shower and the cream for my hands throughout the day and on my girls dry rough skin patches.  They both smell and feel great- they are definitely going to be part of my winter skin care routine.
