As a mom of 3 young kids, I love finding new books to read with them. I love the bonding time I get when reading to my kids and love that it’s growing and enriching their minds. We read all kinds of books- silly books, bedtime books, get up and get active books, nature books. I Believe in You by Marianne Richmond is a meaningful book with a main message that should be an affirmation our children hear daily.

I Believe in You (ISBN 9781402263446, Hardcover $15.99)
Growing up is a roller coaster ride of emotion and adventure, asking a child to show self-confidence and courage that they may not know they have. Showing you will be by their side can mean the world to them and give them the strength they often so desperately need. Award-winning author and illustrator Marianne Richmond uses her signature uplifting style to show that your support and unconditional love is always there as children navigate the road of life. I Believe in You encourages kids to look within to find they have all they need to succeed—and to know they always have someone cheering them on.
This is such a cute book- easy to read rhyming phrases and colorful illustrations. It’s a great way to give your child encouragement after a hard day at school or at the end of a long day. It’s a great reminder for parents as well to let our children know that we support them and stand behind them in all they do. As parents we know that that’s what we’re there for, but do our children always know that? It’s good to hear it said out loud every once in awhile and this book helps promote that conversation. And it’s done in a way that’s easy for young children to understand.

I would love to have the If I Could Keep You Little
I haven’t read any of her books, but the one titled “You Are My Wish Come True” is making me tear up just thinking of what it’s about! I’d probably get that and read it to myself alone in the bathroom and think about my future babies. But don’t tell anyone that’s what I’d do. It’s just between us.
I would love to have My Dad Loves Me. My husband works insane hours and is rarely home for bedtime during the week. I try to read bedtime stories that reinforce his love for his kids.
