Ever since Moon Dough came out, my girls have been asking me to get it for them… and as a mom I’ve always been curious as to how it holds up and compares to the traditional Play Doh.  So what sets Moon Dough apart from the other dough on the market:

  • Never dries out
  • Hypo-allergenic
  • Wheat-free

There aren’t any allergies in our family but the fact that it never dries out is definitely a selling point!  We were able to try out the new Moon Dough Magic Zoo with walking feet and my girls really enjoyed it.  The texture of Moon Dough is so much different than Play-Doh, it almost reminded me of cotton candy with how light and fluffy it is.  It does crumble easily but cleans up just as easy if you use a bigger piece of dough to pick up all the other little pieces.  My girls even got a few small pieces in the carpet that I didn’t notice til the next day and it was still soft and vacuumed up with no problem.Magic Zoo

Bring your Moon Dough creations to life with the Moon Dough Magic Zoo playset.  Place Moon Dough into the Zoo gate, turn the handle and a real walking zoo friend pops out thru the Zoo gates!  Comes with three animal friends: a Gorilla, Bear, and Penguin and fence mold to create and play in your very own Magic Zoo.

My 3 and 6 year old both loved playing with the Magic Zoo set.  They liked how the dough felt and thought it was cool to see the animals walk out on their own.  They did each have a little trouble a few times when turning the handle in order to get the animal to come out though.  You just have to be sure to turn the handle all the way til it clicks.  This will provide hours of fun for your kiddos and you won’t have to worry about it if they forget to put it away or don’t seal it up properly… because it never dries out!
