My girls love eating snacks like cookies and crackers (I think my toddler may in fact have a graham cracker addiction). But I try not to give it to them too often so they’re not overloaded with sugar and other things their little bodies don’t need. So I love when I can find a natural option that’s healthier for them.
Since 1947, MI-DEL has been satisfying the appetites of people like you who want snack products that are healthful, natural, and taste delicious. MI-DEL is a combination of old-fashioned recipes and new bakery methods that let us create better for you cookies that meet the latest health standards without giving up a yummy inch of taste.
MI-DEL offers gluten-free, all natural, organic, and single-serve snack options for the whole family. I was able to try 3 different products from MI-DEL. I had to go to a couple different stores though in search of a variety of their products. The Meijer by me only offered two of their products while Kroger offered a few more options.

I was able to find the All-Natural Honey Grahams and the Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies and Arrowroot Cookies. My first impression taking them out of the package was that they almost seemed slightly overdone. The edges around the cookies looked darker than what I expected. I wasn’t sure how my kids would react to these new snacks but let them try each one.
My oldest daughter (6 years old) had the hardest time with all the products and didn’t like any of them. My husband thought the Arrowroot Cookies actually tasted similar to a fortune cookie. I didn’t mind either of the gluten-free products but think it would take a little getting used to if you’re not familiar with gluten-free products already. My youngest (20 mos. old) took to everything fairly well, and both her and my 3 year old liked the graham crackers the best.

Overall, I think MI-DEL products are a great snack option if you’re looking for natural snack foods or have a gluten free diet. I had a friend of mine, who gives her son gluten-free foods, try out the products also and here’s what she said about them. “My son loves the animal crackers. He didn’t like the chocolate chip cookies but I tried them and don’t think they’re any worse than most gluten free chocolate chip cookies. The graham crackers are ok (for all natural, whole wheat)… he ate them= ok.” Gluten-free products are not something we’re used to eating around here, and I think if I could’ve found some of the other MI-DEL items at the stores in my area they would’ve went over better with my family.
MI-DEL also offers some yummy looking recipes using their cookies on their website. This would be great for a healthy, delicious dessert for this 4th of July weekend:
