My oldest daughter is at that age where she likes to collect things. She started a rock collection last year when she was five, her Barbie collection continues to grow with every birthday, and now she’s discovered erasers… yup, erasers!
Gomu is the collectible eraser that is bursting with fun! With over 100 different Gomu to collect- from pets, gadgets, music and the zoo, there is a Gomu for whatever you’re into. Discover ultra-rare Gomu’s with a surprise in every packand take them apart to mix and match for your own unique characters.
Get in the Gomu spirit and bring them to school for trading and swapping with friends. You can also discover how rare your Gomu is using G-Points. Collect and swap to maximize your total Gomu value. Each time you open a Gomu you have the chance to find 1 of the Ultra rare Gold or Silver Key erasers. Gomu is the coolest collectible around! Age: 6+
My 6 year old definitely loves these erasers! After she opened up every pack, she sat and played with them for at least an hour- taking them apart and putting them back together again. She was excited at all the different ones she got, including a school bus, an alarm clock, and lipstick.
I was also able to let her go online and enter her collectibles for gomu points. It’s like having a virtual collection and a great way for kids to be able to track which ones they already have and which ones they still want to get. The more rare the eraser the higher the points.

I love that each eraser can be taken apart and then your child gets to do a mini puzzle while putting it back together. And they do actually erase, though they didn’t seem to work quite as effectively as the standard pencil eraser. I don’t see my daughter actually using these to erase though (I tested one after she went to sleep… shh), and I don’t think she’ll be taking them to school to trade, though that could change. I think for now she’ll enjoy just collecting and playing with them.
WHERE TO BUY: Gomu collectible erasers can be found at stores like Walmart and Target and start at just .99¢ for a single pack, and around $2.99 for a 3 pack & $4.99 for a 6 pack. So the price is definitely affordable and these would make great party favors, stocking stuffers, and back-to-school items.
Disclosure: I was provided a product in exchange for my review. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own and completely honest.
