Chex Mix Muddy Buddies {Review & Giveaway}

I’ve always been a big Chex Mix fan… it’s perfect for parties, midday snacks, easy to throw together, and tastes delicious!  I had never actually had the Muddy Buddies before but when I read the description I was dying to try it.

Yum is right… peanut butter, chocolate, powdered coating… definitely a sweet treat!  I was surprised that my girls actually didn’t like it.  Well not entirely surprised considering my oldest (6 year old) isn’t a big chocolate fan- she said it was kind of good and kind of not.  My 3 year old threw me for a loop though when she didn’t like it either.  My 20 month old wouldn’t even try it the first time I gave it to her.  I think it was just so different then anything she’s ever had before, but she did eat the second time around but didn’t necessarily gobble it up.

But no biggie, mommy and daddy both enjoyed eating it.  And with no little hands trying to grab any, it made the snack that much more enjoyable.  I actually would’ve liked more of a chocolate-y taste, with me and chocolate… more is always better!  My husband thought it was just fine how it was though and gladly took a second handful (and possibly a third).  ;)
